In early June, Bend Ice held elections for the Bend Ice Figure Skating Club Board to serve for the new two skating seasons. As a result, the following are your new board members.
Beth Brinston – President
Rebecca King – Vice- President
Trish Havlin – Secretary

A very special thank you goes out to Trish Havlin, who served as president of the board for the past two seasons. Trish was instrumental in getting the club off the ground and worked endless hours throughout the past two years to build our club. Our skaters have enjoyed participating in an annual ice show for the past two years and we have watched their skills grow as they prepared for their annual USFS and Learn to Skate tests. This past season Trish organized for skaters to head over to Eugene for Bend Ice’s first participation as a club in USFS competition and all of our skaters placed! Trish was supported by Susan Straub, Vice President and Rebecca King, Treasury. I know we all appreciate their efforts and time they contributed throughout the past two seasons.
We are now working towards planning for our upcoming season. We’ve got a new website and we are looking to gain corporate sponsorships to help us with our primary goal of increasing our membership and encourage more skaters to experience the joy of skating.
